First of all, works are directed on development of modern applications concerning solar collectors, wind power plant and photovoltaic cells. |

Surface structure research |
CNTH has at disposal one of the most exact scanning surface topography instrument. Taylor Hobson's Talysurf CLI 2000 is highly advanced three dimentional surface analyser with four different measurement systems. Measurements tailored using that system have got a lot of advantages, such as: outsized accuracy and speed, results visualization in the form of 3D surafce, outsized amount of researched surface parameters. |

Talysurf CLI 2000 equipped with four measuring systems, which can be chosen depending on advisable accuracy. Two different inductive gauges with corner radius of 2 µm ensure contact measurement ranging from 0.1 to 2.5 mm roughness and with Z axis resolution form 2 to 40 nm as well as 2 mm/s speed. Inductive gauge measurement provides precise and relatively speed. CLA system utilizinig chromatic aberration, as a third implemented system in instrument, allows for non-contact heigh measurement ranging from 300 µm do 3 mm with resolution on Z axis from 10 to 100 nm and 300 mm/s speed. Non-contact laser gauge enables measurement even up 30 mm of roughness with resolution ranging from 1 do 3 µm, 30 mm/s speed what provides efficient and safe mensuration. Obtained during mensuration data are next treated using special software TalyMap allowing on full analysis of structure of researched surface. Instrument working range on X-Y axis: 200x200 mm, heigh of measured component (Z axis): up to 200 mm, sample weight: up to 20 kg.

Termography research |
Each body is source of infrared radiation about superior temperature from inconditional zero, and its intensity depends upon body's temperature and surface characteristic. Thermovision research rely on registration by camera of emitted radiation by observed object and next converting on colour map of temeparature. Thermovision system allows remote and non-contact measurement in many points simultaneously. Moreover, it is safe measurement and convenient, in each situation irreplaceable, in which exists dynamic thermal phenomenon and temperature distributions what makes infer easy regarding proceeding phenomenons. |

Newest thermovison camera Ti-30 Raytek is palced on endowment of NTH Center. Measurements are execute in range of -15 ÷ +255 ºC with resolution 0,1ºC (accuracy of measurement ±2 %, band of work 7-14 µm). Camera allows to remember up to 100 thermal photographs and their further transmition to PC computer with special software Inside-IR, which provides instruments to precise analysis of thermal photographs. Significant picture refreshing frequency of 20 Hz ensures measurements in real time. Camera Ti-30 equipped with LCD display and laser target positioner allows yet in point of measurement to obtain precise results without necessity of connecting it with computer. |

Measurement of noise intensity |
Portable analyser and noise meter 1 class CVAN 912AE provides measurements and signal analysis in range from 0.8 Hz to 22.6 kHz. This instrument makes acoustic measurements, monitores sourrounding noises and measures meance in work-places. Thanks to this SVAN 912A (AE) analyser can be applied to work-place evaluation and interaction of noise on natural environment. There is also possible to utilize analyser to laboratory measurements and activities connected with working out and improving new products.

Measurement of electromagnetic, radioactive and UV radiation |
Measurement of magnetic field intensity is possible due to employment of high class instrument Lutron EMF-827. It has three ranges and provides quick and easy measurement of harmful radiation (standing most often near electric transmitt, transformer stations and transmission lines). Measuring range amounts to 20 -2000 µTesla.
Gamma-Scout instrument enables precise measurement of several kind of radiation (alfa, beta, gamma) in ranges: alfa - from 4 MeV, beta - from 0.02 MeV, gamma - 0.02 MeV. Measurement are kept in device's 2 kB memory from which after connecting register to the computer files are copied to the hardware. |

Professional, high quality meter of intensity of ultraviolet radiation UVA-365 enables measurement in long-wave range of 365 nm. Microprocessor measuring system guarenttes maxiumu possible accuracy, relaibility and functional additives. Wide range of mesuration: from 1,999 do 19,99 mW/cm2. |

Measurement of humidity |
Hygrometer WIM-90 makes (without using tables and standards) measurement of wood, concrete foundations and air humidity possible. It is feasible due to rich outfit with suitable electrodes. Foundation humidity mensuration is based on resistance measurement and grants demands of british standard BS.5352;1983. Chemical sensory (cellulose compound) enables measurement of air humidity. It allows overall mensuration in warehouses, shops (productive rooms) etc. Measueremnt range: wood - form 6% to 100% of absolute humidity, concrete - from 1% to 15% absolute humidity, air - from 30% to 90% RH. |
